Newark, NJ Skyline

Northern New Jersey's skyline, well known by visitors looking west from New York City over the Hudson River. Many may not realize that the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are actually part of New Jersey. Newark Liberty International Airport is one of three airports that service Manhattan, as well as the population of Northern New Jersey. The region is the most densely populated in the US and one of the most diverse as well. Northwestern New Jersey called the Skylands region is comparatively more rural as the woodlands become more dense and mountainous yet is still popular and busy.

Southern New Jersey in Summer means beach and boardwalks.
