New Jersey Vietnam Veterans' Memorial
The Vietnam War memorial features an emotionally moving bronze statue that depicts a nurse tending to a downed soldier. New York Aquarium
New York Aquarium, on the Coney Island Boardwalk exhibits marine life in outdoor pools and indoor tanks. The Oceanic tank features a Beluga whale. Local species are featured in the Hudson River exhibit. The Gulf Stream Habitat examines the various fish that are swept up the river by the stream during the summer. The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum
The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum on the College Avenue Campus of Rutgers University. Focused on printmaking and the graphic arts, the museum has amassed a distinctive array of international works, including Japonisme art and one of the largest collections of nonconformist art from the Soviet Union. Twin Lights State Historic Site
The twin-tower 1862 lighthouse replaced a structure built in 1828. An important site in lighthouse technology, the tower once was the primary light source for New York harbor.
